Noah's 2nd Birthday

Saturday was Noah's 2nd birthday and we had a choo-choo train party! It was kinda hot, but lots of fun. We took a ton of pictures, so I only put a couple here, but will make an album with all the pics. I still can't believe my baby is 2! Where does the time go?

Noah's Birthday pre-party

Noah's birthday was on Saturday, but on Friday I took some cupcakes up to daycare for all his little classmates. We had a Mickey Mouse themed mini-party!

the serious eaters! Ha

Carter would dip his little Mickey Mouse ring in the icing and then lick it off=)

A Little Excitement

Last Tuesday our office won the 98Mix "Mug-n-Munch". They came and brought us Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee. We were really excited. =)

4th of July weekend

On Friday night we went to the balloon glow/fireworks at Northpark. Noah loved the fireworks! He got so excited. He would say "pow pow!" and "That's pretty".
On Saturday night we went swimming and cooked out and shot fireworks. It was a fun weekend.

I love this picture!

Look at his face! =)

Eating homemade strawberry icecream- yum yum!

Potty Time

The other night we were in the bathroom and Noah's little potty was sitting out (by the way, we have not started potty training yet!) and he said "I-ona potty", and he sat down on it, diaper on and pants up and then looks up at me and goes "I-ona book". So I got him a book. Ha ha ha!

Good Morning Noah

One morning we went in to get Noah up and this is how we found him! He had thrown all his friends and blanket out of the bed and pulled his arm out of his sleeve and through the neck hole! Ha ha!

Noah and Pappy

This is my Pappy who is 92. Whenever we get together we try to get pictures of him with Noah (and us). Notice I said "try". It's kinda hard to get Noah to sit still and get both of their attention at the same time. But I still love these. =)

Father's Day 2009

This year Noah and I made gifts for Daddy! We made a stepping stone with Noah's hand and foot prints in it and Noah painted a picture frame for him. And yes, he really painted it himself. I helped guide his little hand sometimes but he had the paintbrush the whole time. He loved it!

Noah's 1st Trip to the Zoo

We had so much fun at the zoo this morning. I think Noah loved it! He walked all around like a big boy without like trying to run off or anything. If there was a little pond or something sometimes he wanted to get in, but he did really well for the most part. It got really hot after a little while though. We were all worn slap out by the time we left. But it was fun and we took like a thousand pictures! Here are a few, and I'll try to put the rest in an album.

"Raf right dere, Mommy!"

"BIG kitty cat!"

I've Been Monogramming!

Well I FINALLY learned how to use my machine! I know, I know, it took long enough! But I did finally learn and now I'm having so much fun!!! Thank you Courtney for my lessons! Without your assistance it would probably still be sitting in the box! Ha! Anyway, now I'm kinda out of control, it's kinda all I do. But I decided to take a break tonight to catch my blog up. I'm sure I'll be right back to it tomorrow though! =) Some of these aren't the greatest pictures but you can get an idea of what they look like.

My first ever! It's a burp rag (that I actually haven't sewed the fabric on yet, but I'm gonna)

Practice onesies

Colonel Reb was kinda a big deal, so I had to practice him on a burp rag first. Thank goodness I did, cuz the thread kept getting hung and breaking my needles. I went through a whole pack, and it took me pretty much all day to finish, but doesn't he look good! =)

Pillowcase dress I made and monogrammed...

...with matching "Hotty Toddy" hair ribbon! =)

I spiffed up my old plain white scrub jacket (not sure if you can tell, but the teeth have braces and it says 'Smile Specialist'!)

Cute little burp rags

Noah's new beach towel! I think I'm most proud of this one, because I had to move the hoop for each letter and managed to keep it halfway straight and it did take a small eternity! But I LOVE it!
